I create original paintings and drawings across both traditional and digital mediums, developing work from initial sketches through to finished pieces. My approach combines observation, experimentation and visual storytelling to create artwork that can stand alone or contribute to a wider creative project.
I create photographs that focus on composition, atmosphere and visual character, whether capturing a subject, environment or carefully constructed scene. I can approach photography as both a standalone art form and a visual tool for developing imagery, references and creative material for wider projects.
I design and develop furniture as functional objects with a strong visual and material identity, considering proportion, form, construction and how each piece exists within a space. My approach combines practical design thinking with a more artistic perspective, creating pieces intended to be both useful and visually distinctive.
I create sculptural work by exploring form, volume, texture and material in three dimensions, developing pieces from early concepts through to finished objects. I can work from an existing idea or develop an original form, using sculpture to explore characters, objects, environments and purely artistic concepts.
I develop ceramic pieces with an emphasis on form, surface, texture and the character of the material itself. From functional objects to more sculptural work, I use ceramics to explore tactile ideas and create distinctive pieces that bring an artistic quality to physical space.
